As the Chinese flagship operation for Fushi Copperweld, the Dalian facility in the northeast Chinese province of Liaoning is in the midst of an expansion that will bring greater copper-clad steel (CCS) capacity to the plant, which predominantly produces copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire. Fushi's Dalian facility also specializes in fine wire (as thin as 0.03 millimeters), and patented the innovative rolling weld-bond technology. Attached to the factory are Fushi's local administrative offices and a staff apartment building.

Our American operation in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is a state-of-the-art 287,000 square-foot facility that manufactures Copperweld® CCS and CCA wire and dead soft annealed (DSA) strand. The facility is currently undergoing an expansion of its product mix which will add to its fine wire capabilities. Fayetteville is also the center of Fushi Copperweld's research and development efforts, with a full-service analytical engineering laboratory on-site.

After the acquisition of Shanghai Hongtai Industrial Co. Ltd. In 2010, a leading manufacturer of bimetallic wire in Southeast China, Fushi Copperweld's production capacity and secondary processing capabilities for copper-clad aluminum (CCA) and copper-clad aluminum magnesium (CCAM" products was improved. The relocation of the plant to the city of Yixing in Jiangsu province extends the company’s sales network further into Eastern and Southeastern China. The plant produces a range of products for use in telecommunication, utility and industrial applications in the Southeast China market.
